BookingHive wasn't born in a boardroom—it was built out of pure frustration at 11 PM after spending three hours trying to book a single birthday party.

We ran a mobile laser tag business and thought the hard part would be managing equipment and running great events. We were wrong. The hardest part was everything that happened before we showed up: calculating drive times on Google Maps, texting back and forth about deposits, chasing down waivers, and figuring out if our Saturday 2 PM slot had enough buffer time after the noon party across town.

We tried everything. But many just to make them remotely usable wanted $200+ per month, but still often required separate software for things like waivers. Generic booking tools didn't understand travel time or equipment conflicts. We found ourselves juggling five different systems, three spreadsheets, and endless messages just to run our business.

Every feature exists because we lived the pain it solves. The offline mode? Built after losing cell signal at countless parks. Automatic deposit collection? Added after our second last-minute cancellation in one month, cost us $1,500. Travel-based pricing? Created after realizing we'd been losing $20-30 per party on gas.

How does the "They Pay" option work exactly?
Just like Ticketmaster or restaurant reservations on OpenTable. When customers book, they see the service fee at checkout. For a $500 party, they'd pay an extra $30-40 booking fee. You get your full $500.
 
Can I switch between plans?
Yes! Switch anytime with 30 days notice. Beta pricing locks in only if you stay on the same plan.
Why is the Beta price so low?
Early adopters help us perfect the platform. In exchange, you lock in 60% off forever. When we hit 250 customers, prices go to $97/mo.
Do customers complain about the booking fee?
Rarely did we hear anything in our initial testing with our launch group. They're used to it from concert tickets, dinner reservations, and travel bookings. Most prefer the convenience of instantly booking their party over saving on a small fee.
